Landscape Architecture Landscape Project Management Habitat Restoration Design & Arboriculture

  • Apartments and Townhouses

Our cities and towns are coping with population growth and housing affordability by creating a wide range of high and medium density living options.

Anembo’ s design team works with specialist planners, architects and building designers to improve liveability and deliver value for developers, investors, owners and renters.

  • Master Planned Communities

Delivering a Master Planned Community is a long term and complex undertaking for a developer and the consultancy team.

Anembo has delivered the landscape architecture and landscape project management for multiple projects including Pelican Waters over a 30+ years and another in Hervey Bay that is emerging.

  • Land Subdivisions

Providing effective landscape consulting for a sub division and their associated parks - including stormwater management bio basins requires an intimate knowledge of civil engineering design and project delivery programs.

Streetscape and parkland project teams benefit from our expetise in budgeting, contractor relationships and local council liaison.

  • Commercial and Industrial Developments

In commercial and industrial developments we strive to contribute excellent healthy landscapes to create productive workplaces.

From exclusive Marinas to IGA’s we believe everyone deserves a beautiful healthy work environment that encourages customers to linger and return.

  • Resort Refurbishments

Across the Sunshine Coast, many iconic resorts built in the 80s and 90s are showing their age. Recognising that these once-proud buildings and landscapes have become tired, body corporates and owners are now seeking to restore their original prestige.

Anembo is regularly called upon, either as a lead consultant or part of a specialist team, to undertake these refurbishments, a niche field in which we have developed a unique range of skills and knowledge.

  • Tourist Developments

Tourism is an important economic pillar for Queensland. The development of tourism destinations and product is where our enthusiasm, maturity and people skills truly shine.

These projects take many forms. They range from a First Nations songlines nature walk around Caloundra, an arboretum at Paronella Park, a water park in Birdsville , a new golf course at North Maroochy River and even a new cultural precinct in Blackall. They are all complex, challenging and great fun!

  • Lifestyle Communities

From Halcyon Park Caloundra to GemLife Maroochy Quays, Anembo has provided high quality landscape planning and design for over 30 years.

We understand the lifestyle community expectations for resort-style living, delivering low maintenance solutions that preserve both living standards and investment value.

  • Public Parks

Public parks can be an amazing opportunity to connect new communities though the wellspring of play space ideas but if badly designed they can be a nightmare of short and long term maintenance costs and vandalism.

For more than three decades, Anembo has delivered hundreds of parks across every landscape, from the arid outback to coastal shores. Our balanced approach ensures we meet the unique recreational needs of every community.

  • Government

Anembo has delivered a wide range of government-managed and owned projects. These include collaborating with indigenous groups on Songline tourism product, designing ANZAC park in Birdsville to the massive Port of Brisbane landscape and restoration project on Fisherman’s Island. This latter project required dealing with international Ramsar wetlands and connecting respectfully with local birdwatching groups.

Our consultancy focus is always on clear honest communications, reliable data and teamwork.

  • Schools and Early Learning

We take the education of our future generations very seriously. Our inquisitive and passionate approach has reached as far north as Kowanyama First Nations Community School and into Brisbane at Jabiru Community College, which supports students facing barriers to traditional education.

Developing landscapes for reflection, play and of course learning spaces is s special skill set that Anembo brings to schools and early learning projects.

  • Community Pro Bono

Philanthropy is one of our yard sticks of success as individuals and as a company.

Some commitments such as the WindanSea Community Clubhouse have lasted 20 years: others, like the Pumicestone Passage Catchment Management Body, required our efforts for only 18 months to achieve a successful outcome for the community.

We regularly work with artisans, wood workers, cultural heritage owners and many others to enrich our professional experience and give back to the community.

  • Residential

Anembo always has a new or renovating home on the go. It provides an excellent way to focus on the landscape detail and quality of individual living spaces.

We love working with dedicated architects and building designers to provide the garden settings that compliment their buildings.

Peoples gardens always require extra focus and effort as everyone has ‘skin in the game’.

At the end of our projects we love the reward of seeing happy smiling homeowners!
