Design Rationale
Caboolture Shire Council identified the need to revitalize Woodfords central town park. A people place was the main focus of the design with provision of a safe, legible pedestrian network linking the town centre and park amenities.

The significance of the Woodford Memorial Park as a civic destination was woven into the fabric of the built form with detailed pavement design connecting the precinct and artistic seating with shelter elements.

The revitalization of the central town park was an opportunity to celebrate the history and culture of Woodford through the incorporation of artistic elements depicting the essence of Woodford, a place for the people of Woodford.
