Design Rationale
For the creation of a new industrial identity in an altered natural environment, the elements of ‘nuts-and-bolts’ along side protected remnant environmental features, complimented by urban greenery highlights the development.

This project not only deals with providing an internal site identity, but will also provides a radical new transit effect to commuters along an old infrastructure route that dissects through Bundamba along the Warrego Highway.{-{Break}-}

An extensive cycle network will follow the perimeter of the site, meandering along the riverfront esplanade and through the inner diversions created by the major electricity easements traversing the site’s southern side.

Scattered heritage items illustrating the site’s past land uses, both natural and cultural are preserved in and around the significant active recreation park.
