Design Rationale
A comprehensive community and council consultation phase developed a range of aspirations and opportunities for the sports ground. These issues and aspirations constitute the foundation of the Master Plan providing a clear direction for the committee to work towards.

The Master Plan addresses the passive and active recreational needs of a growing community and is responsive to the principles of preserving the environmental values of the region.

Some of the key components of the Master Plan include the upgrade of the existing facilities and car parking, upgrading and provision of the access and circulation networks for cyclist and pedestrians and preservation of the existing environmental values and habitat.
